the SS is much larger and less accurate at $1300
the RR is much smaller and much more accurate at $3000.

I will take bigger and less accurate with $1700 in my pocket every time.

i don't believe its cast from the original. It's just digitally rendered. can someone confirm?

3D scanned which is pretty normal for SW props, no way they're gonna let someone cast them these days :P 3D scans are just as good or even better when done right though.

is it actually a 3d scan or a render? it looks different than the original maquette.

it does say 3d scan. the puppet must have deteriorated over time as it looks different than i remember the earlier images to look.

probably detail lost in the medium used. the original was foam i expect.

And lighting. Contrast lighting makes big differences.

paint job and detail is much nicer on the original puppet. This looks like a resin render. It's nice for its accuracy, but not as nice looking. Good for a prop museum.
