It's a very expensive prop replica. Great as a stand alone "museum" piece, but not for dioramas.

Love it! Very accurate, 3D scan. 83 pieces only, made in the USA, including signature. That makes the difference to me.
The reviewer spoke to Gordon Tarpley and "he explained how the original puppet was so deformed on the back side and so squished that they had to rework the back part using the behind the scenes photos in the archives. So that is probably why the hunchback part is not so high. He mentioned that the top part had been sort of squished because of the hole, so they had to really balance between a full resculpt and keeping it as close to the puppet as it was scanned. I think they struck a nice balance on that back part."

the puppet must have lost a lot of detail from aging.

as the original movie one looked much more textured. this looks almost like a concept maquette. more simple in detail.
