New Scarlet Witch PF

I wouldn't mind them combining some elements from various costumes. I would love two potraits too, but they need to be unique. I hope this has a classic, but powerful stance. I dont want a flying pose like Rogue, maybe something like Jean, at the most.

Agreed. I find her to be gorgeous, no elongated horse face. I'm hoping that SSC will be able to beat the XM though, that way I can have another SW!

I am sorry, but these portraits are not pretty.
XM is definitely not known for good female portraits.
They arent terrible, but they could have been so much better.



I was ready to buy this piece when they started revealing its details. But as soon as those portraits were shown....money saved.

Don't get me started on the messy-clumsy pose.

I forgot about the terrible black laced areas too. I think they could have left those details out.
XM likes to add textures and it isnt always an improvent. I think they took her suit a little too far.

It isnt bad, but I think Sideshow has the potential to beat this piece by 100 miles.
Hopefully they come through and dont pull an "Emma."

Can the same not be said for any statue? (Genuine question, not trying to be snarky or combative). My take is that her opponent is up, or if we go old school Wanda, she could be hexing falling debris or going after a specific target, not necessarily a who but a what.

And agreed. Emma is trash. Personal opinion.

Well this is a character that was on my list in the 12 Days thread lol. Still, I’d rather a new character. 3 PF/Maq reveals and all are repeats. Yikes.

But I need to see this. Just seeing the name doesn’t do much for me. If this PF is cutesy like the logo it’s a hard pass. If I’m going to buy Scarlet Witch again (sold my old one) I need hex wielding, reality screwing Wanda.

XM has that issue a lot. Magik for example. She's got a readied sword in one hand, drawing her massive soul sword with the other, demonic flames swirling around her, and the non-demonic portrait is staring up to the sky like she's enamored by a unicorn shaped cloud.

Personally, if they do pink hex arms, I hope there are switch-outs. I hated that XM forced those hexes on theirs after she was originally shown.

I have little doubt they will be doing her modern black pant look. It's a little bit movie, a little bit comic. And all covered up like they require their ladies (except Emma) to be these days.

My favorite look is for sure the red and pink one, but I do think her modern look is nice. It's got lots of pretty detailing.

+1 XM set the bar low for Scarlet Witch statues...
