I am very new to this line of figures (in fact, I just became interested because of the Artgerm statue ). I was considering getting the Turner Supergirl too, till I read your comment.

Not having owned Polystone/Resin figures, is it really the case that she might break in two or start to lean?

Yes, it can happen.

Had to the the hair-dryer fix to get it back in shape.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

The Turner Supergirl looked really good in person at NYCC.

When I saw the translucent support and I didn't see any reinforcement in that translucent piece, I decided to hold off getting Harley. Wanted to see what happens with that translucent support before jumping in. Probably passing on it after this ...

This one?

Yea, not really sure if this sculpt is a good representation of Turner's art. The body sculpt just doesn't match IMO. The face does, but not the body.

Btw, I also wanted to ask, how good is this line in terms of closeness of the final product/paint-job to the prototype? I tried looking around and the only one I could find reviews were for Wonder Woman statue by Frank Cho, which did seem very close to the proto-type.

But I was wondering if this has consistently been the case with this line? Any input appreciated since I am still weary of diving into a new line !

To be fair, Turner's art is really difficult to translate into 3D. The anatomy doesn't make a lot of sense.

I was always kind of intrigued by the Turner SG but due to the potential leaning issue or the lack of support for her, and another version of SG that I like better (Artgerm) I'll pass.

I'm definitely keeping my eye on the Artgerm SG.

Hopefully we get a Nightwing from this line soon.... I would love if they scaled up the B&W Jim Lee Nightwing.
