The gives off some heat, but not nearly as much as the pic would suggest. I used natural light and a long exposure in the pic so the light looks a lot brighter than it is. I don't put a FS statue directly under the light and Vision's arm never gets hot. Believe me, I worried about this a while, too! But I believe it's safe.
