Yes, starting with Teela SS will carry the EX, though it seems SS also bumps the price up a bit on the EX.

I think Starfire looks flawless without one. At most I can see people wanting some power effect on her hands.

I fully agree about StarFire not needing an exclusive. A Power bolt hand would’ve looked cool. Sometimes when those effects are done they come off being a little too cheesy as opposed to effective but I definitely think that the way Tweeterhead mastered StarFire‘s hair they would’ve been able to master a power bolt hand.
However I do think that with how fantastic Starfire turned out it proves you don’t always need to have an exclusive but I do get the appeal of an exclusive.

That's good to know.
While Starfire with energy effect hands in the current pose would have been great, I am not really sure how TH would have achieved the desired effect, so I am quite happy with the final result as is.
