I thought he was doing "the swim". don't like the outstretched arm nor the disconnnected boot - very odd - the rest of the statue is amazing so really torn as to whether to buy it or not.

225?! Are you for real? Wow they think highly of their product! I guess there are a bunch of Superman fans out there that would pay that much though!

DC probably thought $195 was too cheap, so they tacked on another $30 just because they can.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I simply do not like this for all the reasons already mentioned:
Wierdo hand/arm pose
Legs are too long and skinny
Price
and 1 reason no one has mentioned yet:
Even though I'm for some statues taking the next step (lights, motion, etc.), the spinning Daily Planet globe will look kind of lame when Supes is stationary. I mean the globe will help give the illusion of motion...but Superman is flying not hovering. That may be picky...but I just think this is one gimmick that doesn't really fly (pardon the pun).

Not a big Superman fan, the only Superman piece I have is the Jim Lee full size.
Even if I was a Superman fan, this is an ugly piece.

I actually just acquired that piece and now I'm ready to get rid of it. Something about his face and lips just looks to feminine on a muscle-bound, male superhero.

Already working on getting rid of Batman. The high profile lip-gloss is more apparent on the Bats.
