I wouldn’t say they are notorious about it. But there are quite a few items that yet to see the light of day. Sometimes protoypes are gauge collector interest. This is Princess Leia, so I doubt Hot Toys passes on her. They did the Bespin gown Leia, so Endor Leia extremly probable. I would also like to see Hot Toys produce a Jabba’s prisoner Leia, but there has been an unoficial moratorium on the character since Disney bought Lucasfilm. So older solicited can get into production. For example Director Crenick from Rogue One was previewed quite some time ago, but just recently went up for preorder.

If you check the comments in the Hot Toys Facebook page, you will see you comments on requesting figures that are prugatory.

Items I can think of that were not, or haven’t been solicited since teased. It might interesting to start another thread listing unproduced items

66 Batman Futura Batmobile
Baze Malbus Rogue One
Assault Tank Commander Rogue
Valerian and Lorelei from Valerian movie
Poe Dameron. X-wing pilot
Batgirl Arkham video game series
Doc’s Delorean Back to the Future 2
Vulture from Spider-Man
Drax from GotG vol 2
Cyborg Justice League
Millenium Falcon cockpit
Ripley in Power Loader?
Range Trooper Solo
Yellow Jacket from Ant-Man
Crossbone from CA: Civil War

RotJ Endor Leia arrived here today, and this being my very first Star Wars figure (despite having seen the original trilogy a bazillion times), I was wondering if I had chosen wisely - well, I can happily report that I believe I have... Upon opening the box and seeing Leia's portait, I involuntary exclaimed aloud 'Holy ----!!' Her portrait is nothing short of extraordinary... photographing her, it honestly felt like I had Carrie Fisher in the studio modeling her Endor costume, which by itself is beautifully detailed... but that head sculpt alone is worth the price of admission... I will let these shots speak for themselves...

Nice to see your photography talents in the Hot Toys section. Hot Toys has done a very good job with Carrieā€™s portrait on both ESB figures and this figure.

It seems like yesterday this thing was a year out. Wow, time flies. Just ordered the Wicket set.
