What if Heroes and Villains could be Free Agents?
It seems as if as time goes on and money seems to be the backbone of any dilemma nowadays, that team loyalty goes out the window! I grew up favoring certain teams cuz my favorite player was on THAT team, but as the free agent market exploded onto the scene, and players moved from team to team chasing that mighty dollar, staying true to that team became harder and harder. Do you like the team or do you follow ur fave player? Owners sending players to and fro to better the franchise, increase revenue, merchandising, and the list goes on and on...so I guess what Im trying to get at is, WHAT IF THE SAME FREE AGENCY MARKET APPLIED TO COMICS BOOK HEROES AND VILLAINS? Who would be the most fought over free agent? Who would you get rid of to make room on the roster for new trades? How would u feel if you woke up one day and Bats or Supes were now Marvel or Spidey n the Hulk fought for DC? Could it happen? WHAT IF?

Any team Steve Rogers makes himself a member of is a team worth following. As long as he's written as an honorable, noble guy... the team he's on usually doesn't stray from those ideals (and when it does, he's usually long gone).
Same principles follow Colossus and Superman, for that matter.
Captain America wouldn't work for just "any" team, nor would Superman, Hulk or Batman. Iron Man works towards whatever he sees as being beneficial ten years down the line. Well.. let's be honest: the "Hulk just wants to be left alone".
Hulk would do well in the DC Universe, though the only person who could put him down would be Superman, if he's in fact able to. Think of what Doomsday did to Supes, and Hulk would demolish Doomsday.
Dr. Doom in the DC Universe would be brutal. DC's villains in the Marvel Universe wouldn't fare well, except for the GL cosmic-level villains, I'd think. Lex Luthor would be.. "sanctioned"... fairly quickly by Marvel villains who realized the threat he represented to their usual song & dance.

Wolverine and Deadpool would never pimp themselves out to more than one team.

I would not place Colossus in the same company as Steve or Clark.
First of all, he is a murderer. Second of all he has proven that he will join any team that will have him (Last Defenders!), Third, he really has proven himself to be a terrible brother and son...Fourth he killed himself in order to sure the Legacy Virus without a care as to what his absence would do to Kitty, Illyana, or the X-Team...and lastly he is a filthy mutant.
case closed.

When the owner trades u...u have no choice though...so regardless if Wolvie n Deadpool wouldn't wanna go...if they traded them off...then that's that...would DC loyalists follow Supes to Marvel if they had too?
