I think the "red" he mentions is what distracted him just enough to become roadkill but yeah...they were powerless against big yellow trucks at the time.

I can't believe that really happened. Wow. Not very alert for a Green Lantern. Nice save John Stewart. Way to be there for your teammate. GL corpse. HA!

What horrible writing!!!

Just because the truck was yellow doesn't mean they couldn't have used their rings to get out of the way!

I'm pretty sure most streets are paved in yellow asphalt.. he could've picked up the bus via the road underneath it.
