Even if people don't particularly like the piece, of course it should have it's own thread if someone feels like making one. That's typically what we do here, make a thread for each new product and discuss what we like and don't like about it.

I never really understand when someone makes a statement like "it should never have been made".....why not? As in my other response, even though you may not like it, can you not comprehend that someone (out of the millions of humans on the planet) may actually feel this is a great piece and would like it in their collection? I totally get that this piece is not for you, and you're well within your rights to say so, but it seems a little immature (and strange) to feel that it shouldn't be available to others because it doesn't sit well with you.

I myself will not be getting this but I'm glad its made. Companies should make anything and everything they can. Thus sculpt is awesome and anyone getting will be stoked I'm sure. I saw it at comic con in person and it has amazing presence

I also appreciate the art aspect of it. I probably won't get it but its a pretty cool piece. There's always room for more Darth Maul's in this market. Seeing how he was the only good thing to come out of the pre-quels. Would you rather prefer to see a Jar Jar statue?

Yes, I get the undertone of your post, still I can't understand why you'd bother posting here though. Everyone get's you don't like the statue, so onwards to another thread where you do like the statue.....keeps your blood pressure low, and you might even enjoy yourself a little.
