"Some wips on G1 Bumble Bee concept design by concept artist Kingston... This is not the final design as we are still refining and improving on it... stay tune ..."

I am absolutely loving that early concept! I love version 1 body the most with the head of version 2 and the feet of version 2....so an amalgamation of the 2 so far.
Very promising so far.

My goodness that's ugly. Aesthetics are terrible.
Some design choices seem heavily influenced by Don Figueroa and the 2006 Generations figure (Feet and backpack respectively).
I'll wait and see where this goes, however if I have to pick I'd say the chest of 1, the arms of 2, unsure of the legs, the feet of 2 and re-do the head (or simply remove all those unnecessary lines on his face's) and back (Absolutely no need to make him fat like that).

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

You can tell its still very early. I'd prefer Bumblebee less thick than what it is currently, and you can bet all those lines won't be on the statue. My guess is that thats used to get an general idea of how much or how little details (extra details rather) they are going to include on him. If it's one thing I would like for XM to stay as close to as possible on the TF line is...try to keep the heads / face as close to the G1 cartoon as possible. Little extra details is fine, but not overtly so.

considering they are still about to release Optimus, and after Starscream... wonder when we will see other ones... 2020? It will take SOOOO long. But maybe this is a good idea considering the price of those statues.
