JMS Off Superman & Wonder Woman

I'm pretty damn unhappy about this. I really liked what he was doing on both titles and, personally, thought Superman: Earth One was absolutely nothing special.

If other writers like Bendis and Brubaker can work on multiple books, why not JMS?

Disgusted.

wow, that's kind of surprising. Get him over from Marvel to only work on the high profile books for that short a time?

There must be more to this story. Maybe he has had a falling out with the editors at DC.

Oh good grief. "And so it goes..."

What's his duration as writer down to these days? Half a year?

And I'll keep asking that bastard: Where's the rest of The Twelve?

Unfortunately not:

According to DC's release, Straczynski won't be working on monthly comics for the foreseeable future. The writer is quoted in the publisher's statement as saying this news coincides with a "one- to five-year sabbatical from writing monthlies" for him.

So DC went through all the work of getting him to come to DC for less than a years worth of books and now he is only going to do one-shots? Seems like DC got ripped off.

honestly...mothlies aren't his thing. It was just a matter of time before Supes and WW were late....I don't mind him focusing on limited series that can be put in the can and released then complete as long as he is used to tell compelling stories.
