The physical event has been cancelled already, they are going to do some online thing with London Comic-con.

Hmmm, I’d literally accept anything at this point. Crooked eye Sakura just ain’t doin it for me.
Street Fighter fans need a bone here. The wrestling characters are the BEST!
I guess we’ll have to wait.
I definitely wish for TWO portraits. She has a neck seam anyway.
Please do a serious portrait, and a huge smile portrait! Mika deserves it!
Alex, Hugo, Abigail, Haggar please!!!

I am wary of her smile portrait, PCS has historically done pretty poorly with smile portraits (both in prototype, and even worse production execution).

A smirk portrait, a scowling portrait, a tongue out, anything.
She’s extremely expressive. She needs a ton of ----! However, I’m just thrilled to be getting her in her wrestling costume!
She’ll be with Poison and Ultra Zangief on display!

The two tongue out portraits that they've done semi recently did not turn out well in production at all. And I love poison. It's a great statue but that smiling face is just weird.
Zangief's open mouth portrait is absolutely fantastic though, but an outlier so far.
I'd love good open mouth portraits from PCS, but they have yet to deliver.

I get what you’re saying, but you contradict yourself right here.
If it’s possible with Zangief, it’s possible with Mika.
I’m not willing to say give us all plain expression faces because we’re afraid they simply cannot produce a statue exuding any type of happy emotion.
They must be capable. And they have to try.

It's rather different as the mouth was fully open. For example the two tongue ones had problems separating the tongue from their face cause it just wasn't casted well enough. Not something that would have been done with Zangief. Also it's easier to paint his wide open mouth then the smaller smirking mouth. Also as mentioned it's an outlier, they have quite a few examples of poor open mouth/teeth/tongue head sculpts over the years and only one I can think of as really well done.
They can do smiles fine, just keep the mouth closed :P

Out of curiosity, which “open mouth” statues are you referring?
My Gouken and Zangief both look good with open mouths. Poison smile portrait is at least okay. I wouldn’t go so far to say it’s bad. It’s decent.
I’m not calling you out. But I would like to better see your point.
