I think the almost $800 price tags are the only thing scaring me off of XM. Their work looks great to me don't get me wrong. But at least with I can still get a nice piece for around $200 -300 or so.

Why does everyone keep saying xm is charging 800.00 -1000.00! !?? They aren't charging that if anyone looks at their website they're highest statute is mags at 650.00 usd...you can't blame them for what shipping cost or what a online seller chooses to jack the selling price up to....and secondly where you buying statues for 200-300 it ain't sideshow maybe you mean bowen?

Considering there is NO WAY for a US customer to obtain an XM statue for their retail prices then $800 - $1000 is the cost as far as we're concerned. Semantics doesn't save our wallets the extra $200 for shipping.

BBTS.com sells most of them for under $700 shipped within the USA.

People probably seeing $799 and not realizing that's not how much it is in US dollars. $650 is still allot for Mags IMO. It's an awesome statue but shouldn't cost more than 5, maybe 550.

Ok, just a few facts:
-1000USD is the final price for Magneto here in Europe, inclusive of shipping and custom fees/VATs
-Shipping from Singapore to Europe is higher than from Singapore to USA
-Custom fees/VATs amount at around the 30% of the total value (item+shipping)

Now.
Either in the USA you too have a 30% import fee, or some people here like to talk without even the minimal knowledge of the matter.
