Blade (starring Mahershala Ali)
I guess with the casting of Mahershala Ali as the MCU's Blade, this clearly indicates that Marvel TV (at least the Netflix shows) is NOT tied to the MCU despite the weak references. Unless Cottonmouth somehow becomes Blade.

Blade is one of my favorite characters and Wesley Snipes will always be my boy but if he doesn't repriace the role, Mahershala Ali is the right guy to go. Can't wait for this.

The Marvel Netflix heroes were considered for cameos in Endgame so your assumption isn't true.
And if it were true then it could be said that the Incredible Hulk movie is not part of the MCU because a different actor played the same character that appeared in later MCU films.

Ali is a strong actor and I have enjoyed him in many other things. I guess this just seals me needing to get Disney+
Have we ever been given a cost for Disney+?

I don't believe Blade is going to be a Disney+ show but a movie. In any case Disney+ will be $6.99 per month.

Not my first choice to play Blade but it's not bad. He was good on Cage.

I thought Snipes had at least one more go in him, hard to let go of that, but Blade movie is extremely good news.

This guy ought to be solid. Need to bulk him up a little though, shouldn’t be a problem.

Depends....
You guys have short memories. Blade didn't become the black-leather-clad, sword-wielding, day-walking, vampiric-powers enhanced, badass in the comics until after Snipes' "revamp" of him in the movies. Before he was a green goggle wearing, wooden knife throwing (w/ a bandolier), brown trench coat-wearing, only immune to vampire bites, guy on a mission, a la Gene Colan Tomb of Dracula era.
