Wasnt there like some story arc somewhere that discussed that the radioactive isotopes that gave DD his heightened senses also raised his physical abilities to superhuman levels? I seem to remember some dumb sh1t like that lol

i don't remember specificly but being marvel i wouldn't put it past them to have retconned Matt into being a mutant and the accident just happened to kick in his x gene.

but regardless of the circumstances radar sense is not something an average person can do

These are only his senses. His strength, stamina and agility are still those of a well trained athlete, nothing more. And no, his accident did not give him supernatural physical abilities.
