Ok.. I’m a little mad. I pulled her leash out of the handle and it broke off. The plastic ball barring should had been magnetized. This design is flawed. I’m asking SSC for replacement hand and whip.

I had to ask for a replacement too. Mine broke during assembly. They sent a new arm/whip. I still don’t trust the attachment. Other than that it’s a great statue.

Not sure what to do. If I get the replacement, should I file the ball barring so it slides in. However, I’m not sure if it will stay in overtime. Just a bad design to use plastic.

That was quick, SSC got back to me a will replace the whip and whip hand. I’m a little worry that this is going to happen again. Should I just use black tape for the whip and whip hand together?

Heat both ends with a blow-dryer before you try to plug the whip into the hand. The heat should soften it up so it goes in easier..

It’s getting it out that is the problem. The plastic is just too soft, leaving it stressed when yuh pull on it and then it breaks off.

Yeah, I don’t have much faith in the replacement whip being any better. I don’t have the cat out for display so it was just an unboxing to check for problems. I got the replacement whip and the broken one so Between the two I should be able to make it work once I get a display. And furthermore, I was ok with leaving the whip in the box and calling the handle a baton. It is irritating that was the method they chose for inserting the whip. Seems pretty obvious they could and should have done better.
