Not really a fan of Frank Miller style Batman. The little kid Robin simply doesn't appeal. Not to me anyway. Wish they would pick a different artwork from Jim Lee, something more original rather than Jim Lee's interpretation of someone's else style. There are plenty of great Jim Lee Batman artworks out there. Why this one?

They were never going to do Carrie on her own. It's a great Lee cover of an iconic scene. What's not to like?

Just not for me. Strictly a matter of personal taste.

After that, they just kept releasing another Dark Knight Returns piece every year and it made each one more forgettable. I get that this stuff sells, but I hate how Prime 1 is always more or less trying to outdo themselves. It just makes me never want to buy anything from them that I think they might revisit again. I ended up selling my Prime 1 Batman and never looked back. This looks awesome, but the next Dark Knight Returns Batman they show off next year will probably look even more awesome, and be twice as expensive.
Agreed, is Prime One not allowed to do other heroes?

Yeah Prime 1 is obsessed with adding random details and textures to absolutely everything

It's horrible. It doesn't even look like he was beaten. It's just a 2D shading technique that doesn't shade anything since it's a 3D object.

Love this piece. Was never a massive fan of Miller art but I like his storytelling, and this is based on Lee's art anyway. Is this confirmed 1/4 scale?
