That would be disappointing.
So I can jump on a waitlist months after the fact and potentially secure the next available piece if I'm the quickest on the trigger? Seems unfair.

Yeah, they're trying to get people to preorder quickly. They should post the ES for the EX edition when it goes up for preorder. That'll get more people preordering than the new wait list system. Then they can make the regular edition in batches as they build orders for it.

It can't be the case that EVERYONE on the waitlist gets a conversion email, b/c my Psylocke waitlist has NEVER converted, while it has for others.
I assume they send out emails to a Group of people in the same range on the list.

Yea the "new" waitlist option isnt working for myself and many others it seems. Sigh, maybe they will change it back if enough people voice their concern?

I used to impulse hop on a waitlist and even went through with things I wouldn't normally have purchased due to FOMO. Luckily, I don't have to worry about that anymore, as I just wont hop on a waitlist to begin with.

Well, I don't work at Sideshow so I don't know if EVERYONE on the wait list gets an email. Maybe they send them to the first 20 people on the list; maybe they send it to 8 people in random spots on the list. You can always talk to Sideshow to get the specifics. All we know on the forum is that SOME people on the list get an email, and if you snooze, you lose.
