Picked mine up from my LCS last night. Good thing I always open and inspect my statues before leaving the store. They had to go through 4 statues before they found one that wasn't broken. Even then the one I got had dirt smudges all over it. Luckily, my LCS is great and they cleaned it up for me. But geez DC needs to get their quality under control!!

Just found this video review which shows many of the same QC issues I have documented. Sloppy glue residue on Wonder Woman's thigh, loose lower leg joint/assembly etc.

Also, since it was a question earlier in this thread - it appears in this "newest" batch Superman's legs have been joined together at the thighs and calves/ankles. This was NOT the way the first batch were cast and looks really bad in my opinion comparatively. I see this clearly in the video review above and have confirmed with a few collector friends who just got theirs.

I am shocked at how bad most of this newer batch have turned out and I've only heard of a couple people who got "passable" versions. The only people happy with theirs seem to have purchased the earlier batch which was a limited release back in September.

which sucks but we did not have a choice in which batch we got. I pre-ordered but LCS never got till now.

gotta be honest...as nice as this can look when painted properly, I'm glad I cancelled this one. The MSRP and the end result just doesn't add up

Got mine today and it came unbroken which is always good with DCD.

The one I have his legs are separate until you get to this calves and then they join for about 1/2" and then separate again at the top of his boots.

Not sure if mine is first or second batch. I bought this over a month ago at my LCS so I'm guessing it's first batch.

They only recently announced they were bringing back the ES numbers. The Batman vs. Croc re-release might be the first one they did that for.
