Your piece won't be seen, nevermind inspected, by Chronicle.

They inspect individual pieces ordered direct. Authorised dealers will get theirs from the factory.

Sorry, it's just that I was a little disappointed with it and didn't feel like taking any pics. Didn't want to ruin the anticipation with a wet blanket type post. I wanted to see what other people thought.

I am pretty confident about the quality of the piece and if I am not agree with that, I have 14days to send it back. Hope that I will get a perfect figure, for the amount of money I am paying for, I won't accept a defective one

I would prefer to ordee directly with chronicle but living in Europe I won't pay the double for shipping costs.

Anyway, I am sure that chronicle has a goog QC at their factories to avoid certain mistakes (I supose that almost all the pieces they inspect, are sended directly to theur costymers). Chronicle is a serious company, so I am very confident as I have said

I have three great loves, Terminator, Godzilla and dinosaurs. Don't know which I have more of. I have some really great pieces. I don't know if I can put this in the category with them.

I'm a bit of a Chronicle fanboy, and I wanted to be blown away by this, but I'm not. The first thing I noticed when I lifted the Styrofoam lid, was that the dark brown areas on the teeth seem to have been painted with a brush instead of an airbrush. The second thing I noticed was how thinly some of the paint seems to be applied in certain areas. I build a lot of models, so I paint a lot. Whether it's models or cars or houses or whatever, you need a certain amount of paint to give richness. The neck and lower jaw are my biggest gripes. It looks more like a light overspray than paint.

The piece doesn't lack for detail so much. It just doesn't pop.

Totally understand buddy. Sorry to hear that you feel this way. I personally (as I'm sure many others) did not order this piece and would really appreciate some pictures. Of course we cannot force you if you do not wish to take them. Once again, sorry that you feel this way, and I hope that it will grow on you with time, should your observations be valid.

I don't think it's so much a 'defect' as just a personal preference. I want to see what others say about it. If mine is an oddball, then I can contact them....or I can just fix it myself. When everyone was complaining about the first Godzilla 2014 statue from Sideshow being way too bland, I just dry-brushed the whole thing myself to give it some life. We'll see. This won't keep me from any future orders. Just pre-ordered Owen and Blue and looking forward to the female bust.
