Congrats GG collectors, they're having a nice TF.

I agree with you guys that the Grievous pose is stupid.

That Darth Maul rocks! Whadaya bet that one comes out as a hologram exclusive somewhere? It's the exact same pose as when he appeared in a hologram in TPM.

I really like the Royal Guard but why must GG sculpt another statue with a wind blown robe? First it was Vader and then Maul and now this.

so you can display them all together and it will look like the same gust of wind is hitting your shelf

I was thinking the same thing KK. Remember that we got word of a "hologram bust" at the beginning of Toyfair.

The Rancor looks awesome, but the Royal Guard looks bad, IMO. Why can't GG ever have a "museum" type pose for their statues? It looks like an unleashed figure.

I just sold my last GG piece (Dewback), but I may still get that Rancor. It rocks! It wish it was a little bigger, though.

I like the Grievous pose! It's pretty original. Everything looks great.

Gentle Giant's going to have a hard time topping this series of announcements. I'm relieved that they gave Chewie his classic bowcaster and not one of those weird-looking Wookiee...uh...things from Episode III (that Han Solo bust I picked up for $20 off barnesandnoble.com is looking like an even better deal now). As for Grievous, I'm glad they went with an original pose, although I have to wonder why GG is so in love with the idea of the General hiding lightsabers behind his back (see: Clone Wars maquette). Out of all of these, Qui-Gon looks like the loser of the bunch, and it wasn't even a week ago that I was constantly checking Fireside to see if he'd gone on sale yet. Enjoy my paychecks, GG!
"Just hook it to my veeeeeeiiiiiiins!"
