Yup, wrong outfit. Should have been the black one.

My guess is their total sales of Aragorn so far: 0

The face is just off. Nice detail in the costume though.

Absolutely G, like you say the costume they have done has excellent detail and looks to be great quality. But the strider outfit would be sooooo much better, they really needed to take this one back to the drawing board. I`m very suprised that likeness was approved though.

Ditto. Wrong outfit, bad likeness and principally, bad pose! Like I said here many times, that pose alone kills it for me.
Now bring us Jack and Indy already!

Yeah, not enticed by this one at all. I'll wait for Jack to make my debut into CM

Even though I prefer the 'Strider' costume from the movies, I think they did an AMAZING job with the costume on this piece. I'd love to get one of these and just make my own head for it, but that's a lot of money to spend for something that will be resculpted.

Now THAT would be awesome. The Aragorn costume is probably some of their best work so far. The bad likeness just kills it. A Bergholtz sculpt with silicon skin and real hair would rock!

You'd be out $1500 but the resculpting would be free.
Or I could buy one and you could resculpt the head and you wouldn't even be out the $1500.

I got the email as well and to be honest, I'm shocked that CM would release those pics of the headsculpt. If it wasn't for the "Aragorn at the Black Gates" outfit, I would have had no idea who it was supposed to be...

The outfit does look amazing. But the sculpt went from bad to worse, in my opinion. $1500.00? No way. $300.00? Maybe.

Well that was unexpected. Why didn't any of you "insiders" leak the info early?

It looks like CM has given up on fixing this one. It looks great from the neck down, but the likeness just isn't there for a $1500 piece.

Lets' see.... Alien released at the end of July, so that's about a 6 month gap between releases. Maybe Jack will be out before July?

Is ANYONE here going to order Aragorn?
