What a life and career. This guy was in all kinds of great movies and had quite the varied list of roles - heroes, villains, cowards, bullies, sensitive guys, BS artists, and... MERRRRRRMAID MAAAAANNNNN!!! He did it all very well. See ya later, Marty.

When someone this old dies, I'm usually like "Oh, so he was still alive?"
Not Borgnine - I was fully aware he was still around.
Sad day, but he's lived a lengthy rich life. RIP.
