yet another icon from my youth is gone. Such a shame and such an influence to many other musicians. His loss will truly be felt.

This one hurt. I have little memory of life without Van Halen in it in some way. I was fortunate to have seen Van Halen live twice - The Diver Down and 5150 tours.
