No problem. I was reluctant to try it but gave in and have not looked back.

I bought some powdered water, but I don't know what to add to it.

I think the comics industry on the whole is on it's last legs. That said, I'm only sticking around for certain books....I've enjoyed most of the 11 DC's I'm still collecting since Convergence, and I'll give around 8-9 Marvel's a try come this Fall, but I'm not going to have any problem dropping a book the way I used to.....I'm not about to spend $4.00-$5.00 on something that's just not blowing me away!
But, yeah......it's just not the same!

Agreed about cutting books that just aren't worth it anymore ($ wise).

I've dropped titles that I've enjoyed, but still feel I'm not getting my money's worth for the read.

I'm avoiding certain writers now as their books read too fast (ie. Bendis) as well and not worth the asking price ($4 for usually less than a 5 minute read).

Do other publishers (like DH or Image) have something similar? I don't really care about super heroes anymore.

Not in an unlimited format (that I am aware of).

The $$ to minute ratio amazes me. do comics provide $50-$60 an hour worth of entertainment.

That's the way I am with Hickman now...I'll avoid him like the plague!

That's interesting. I've come to avoid Bendis like that, and I'm starting to feel that way about Hickman. Just like Grant Morrison, I enjoyed their work a lot but they seemingly descend into this quagmire in their own heads around fanciful language and fictitious jargon that makes their work unreadable at times

Still, I loved Hickman's Infinity and Secret Wars has been ok

I think comics are changing. Digital is the wave of the future. Many old timers just won't do it, some will get dragged into it kicking and screaming, and the open minded will accept it. The younger generation will be more accepting. Once many aren't going to be printed, the cost will probably come down. It will be interesting over the next decade.

I would like to see some company take a bold move and do a digital only, subscription based monthly comic.
