Trust you to be "in the know" - absolutely nothing gets by you, does it mate?

That's great! I noticed that you'd spotted Paul as a guest at his Facebook page some time back - very observant mate!

I am absolutely stoked by the Alan Davis announcement! His run on Excalibur is right up there with the most memorable comics of my school years.

Adam Hughes is amazing but Davis has a much bigger personal connection with me.

It's certainly disappointing but we're now planning for 2015! Adam recently took on some sketch requests at a US show which hopefully won't be a one-off and may see him sketch elsewhere.

Sorry that there's not much on offer for you personally Alex but, for me, Alan Davis is a huge drawcard and I'm thrilled to be hosting him at Supanova

Hey Ryan,

Good to know that you also enjoy Alan's work and share my delight in having him visit Downunder

I consider Alan to be one of the premiere creators in the industry and he only does one international show a year so it was a thrill when he decided to attend Supanova! Best,

Royd

Im with Alex, its disappointing and anyone who knows me knows how apathetic I am towards Alan Davis' "abilities" (yes the inverted commas are intended). Ill still line up for him to help out a friend, and hopefully hes a good guy to chat with at the very least im still reeling from Michael Golden who was easily the worst con guest ive ever had the displeasure of speaking to (and this includes the venomous man that was Joe Jusko)

Dear Royd

im glad youre now planning for 2015 i was planning for 2014 and already spent airline and hotel tickets but thats OK isnt it

I note that yesterday when i purchased one of these that there was NO announcement on the webpage for "supa"nova guests cancellation

and the "for me" quote doesnt help- i feel its the roydnova with that comment - cause i thought you said you were trying to get people for an array of different types of collectors/fans etc
Ive seen Alan Davis head sketches and not impressed with 200 price tag if thats for head sketches (yes i own one) but we will see
hopefully Paul Ryan has room on his list.

maybe ill get MLP comic signed by the editors or try my hand at stick figure drawing and get a cover opportunity at IDW

looking forward at least to seeing an Alan Davis Shanna

let the sycophants reply

very upset

Alex
