eBay seller -"fosworld" : your thoughts on this guy?

Hi guys / gals,

Just interested as to whether anyone has come across the eBay seller fosworld before or not.

His name is Joe (Joseph) Pecoraro (I think).
His rating is pretty high (score of over 4800 and 99.5% positive feedback) and he has what is seemingly a fair bit of original art but upon closer review i.e. google searches and checking some older stuff on his twitter feed (because his ebay listings are private...always makes me suspicious!), it looks to me like there are some fairly dubious listings. For example here are several for original Michael turner art:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICHAEL-TURN...p2047675.l2557

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICHAEL-TURN...p2047675.l2557

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICHAEL-TURN...&soutkn=4Hfz9W

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICHAEL-TURN...p2047675.l2557

Some of them, particularly that third supergirl piece, just look awful and none of them, despite being supposed originals, has reached what I would deem a respectable price for art by a pretty popular artist (particularly one that's no longer with us). So I'm left asking myself whether these are really originals or not and whether buying from him is a good idea or not?

If you guys have any thoughts, experience or knowledge of this seller please do let me know.

Thanks

Thanks for your input guys.

I can't imagine that any of those above are originals but then he has some listed at the moment which look a lot more authentic. Here's some links:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ADAM-HUGHE...QAAOSwpP9Y6NEt

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MICHAEL-TU...4AAOSwc49Y6NSY

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MICHAEL-TU...0AAOSw3utY6NM0

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JACK-KIRBY...UAAOSwnF9Y6AFC

I can't say much about the kirby sketch as I'm not a close follower of his art.

One thing that looks suspect with that last fathom sketch is the white border around the image: It's as though he's printed the image off on paper that's larger than the image (hence the white border) and then done a bad impression of Mike Turner's signature to make it look legit.

Wonder what he'd say if asked if the pencil could be rubbed off or not. I'm guessing he'll have an answer like it's been sealed.

Guess if it's too good to be true then it is. Just annoys me that, assuming he's selling copies / fakes that people can get away with this so easily on eBay. There's obviously plenty of people out there who feel like they have a true Turner piece when they really don't; that poor owner of the Supergirl pic for example.

[B]EDIT: Confirmed by Aspen comics themselves that the art this guy is selling is FAKE.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.[B]

The first one is clearly a fake. From the art itself to the horrible interpretation of the signature.

The 2nd is ALMOST passable, but judging by the rest of the ---- this seller sells, it's likely a fake.

The 3rd, i'm not sure why Michael Turner would have taken the time to add his boxed signature on this sketch. I imagine he would generally only add it to finished pieces.

4th, well, same as the others. More than likely a fake.

Just forget about this seller already.
