Considering the prices these days (Lady Deadpool is $675 and this is $649.99....for real?), Hulk vs Wolvie is the best value statue left on Sideshow in my opinion. If you don't care for these characters, I understand not giving it a second thought. If you have any interest in these characters, and you don't get it, that someone who DOES can thank you for hesitating. I've learned that lesson more than a few times....

650!!!!!!!! incredible price, DP, lady DP both cost more, this is a fabulous statue at an even better price. HIGH es or not, it's the best price and statue that has come along, very happy i have the EX, i dont ever use that head, but now with the change of price with EX and reg, happy i secured it.

Yes I was shocked when they announced how much this piece
was going to list. Hulk 2 1/5 statues in one, Wolv is a 1/5 statue. If you use
He-Man as a standard $400.00 3 statues $1,200. Or Skeletor $450.00
3 statues $1,350

This is easily the best bang for your buck that sideshow is offering. 2 super popular characters facing off in 1/5 scale for $650 is a phenomenal deal nowadays. Not to mention the sculpt is out of this world good. Martin Canale crushed this MAQ. This easily could have been the very 1st VS dio ever offered and no one would have blinked.

I LOVE the EX head, cuz it's how the comic was, so it bothers me to add the reg head even though that's my favorite wolverine and it looks better. Specially now w WvJ coming out, easy to have the EX head on this one displayed and the newer version on that one. We'll see the value of this one again when that one rolls around. I have a feeling it's going to hurt.

I agree with what everyone said, the price on this was an absolute steal. I pre order the exclusive I believe back in January. I couldn't believe it wasn't sold out yet at that price. I would have paid probably a $1000 for this hence why sideshow is upping the price with Thanos lol

I think SSC wanted to sell a boat load of these and keep it cheaper. Shame they don't do that more often sell more at less. But we can't just attack them not any company sells stuff cheap. I use to pay $100.00 for GG 12 inch statues 10 years ago and the last one they did was a few years ago and that was almost $300.00. Now they gave up that scale I guess due to sales now the 1/8 statues they make cost $150.00

Well said... the price on this was only "low" due to ES so SS could spread the cost. But they basically sold 6000 of these in relatively short order, it's an amazing piece and looks even better in person!

^^^ I have both those statues and I'm very very happy with my Wolv vs Hulk Maq. Your "super up close macro" pics with flash are a terrible way to "evaluate" paint apps.

Finally, as someone who owns multiple XM pieces I can definitively say most of the paint apps lack shading and depth, so you can't compare that with SS pieces which aim for a different finish (when viewed at a normal distance, not when you have a camera up Hulks nose LMAO!!)
