Here's my story:
It's a new group of marines who encounter a rival group that were "skinned alive." They have not seen something like this in 30 years so decide to bring in an expert - Dutch! All hell breaks loose again and all the marines die except Dutch who battles the Predator one on one again. Loads of new Predator weapons of course and great kills.
There you go, why can't Hollywood think of this?
I bet that will be better than the new movie!

What they should of done was instead of using Laurence Fishbone in Predators (god awful part that made no sense) it should have been Arnold as an aged Dutch.
Then they could have killed Brody (easier to believe in Predators really existing than Brody being a tough guy.) and had Arnold lead the Predators sequel.
A predator reboot will stink as they're bound to change the creature design and there's no one even close to filling Arnies shoes as Dutch.

you guys seem to be mistaking the term reboot for remake, there hopefully won't be a Dutch at all. a reboot just kicks the series back into action, while a remake retells what's already happened

Not necessarily. More times than not nowadays the term "reboot" and "remake" are synonymous with one another. Films like Total Recall and Robocop were hailed as reboots yet they still recycled the same characters and narratives albeit slightly tweaked.

Total Recall and Robocop are considered to be remakes, not reboots.

Thats my point. They are remakes but they were also labeled reboots. Especially Robocop. Hollywood doesn't seem to know the difference between the two anymore so until more details are released we won't know what Predator actually is.

I don't remember them being labeled as reboots.

As long as they use practical effects and remain faithful to Mr Winstons design I'll be happy...

In my opinion the original predator will never, ever be topped. I just can't see this being nearly well made but will wait for the trailer.
I thought the movie Predators with Adrian Brody was disappointing. With that said I thought the story was excellent but I thought the actors were not right for their roles and I felt lawrence fishburne forgot how to act as he was so bad in that movie haha

Original Alien can't be topped either, but that doesn't stop Hollywood from trying.
