So, does this mean that Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and Pietro (Quicksilver) can go back to being Erik's (Magneto's) children?!?!

(he will never be Max to me, btw)

....I’m sure Rotten Tomatoes would give it a 110%.
Maybe a remake of Bambi where the X-Men stop the hunter...

If they are as good as the recent DC team-up comics then bring it on.

It's like all the great comics that make the foundation of all these movies - seperate story lines that intersect for big events. X-men vs Avengers anyone?
Only if the X-Men win. I'd love to see Storm vs Thor. Hell, I'd love to see her lift the hammer even if it's just half and inch. I'm tired of them being second tier to the Avengers....which has happened since Disney owned Marvel. But times may be a changing!

Could you imagine if we actually got a movie where Magneto removed Wolverine's adimantium?! Though to be fair, DOFP did have characters dying. I will give FOX that credit, they did show Sentinels murdering.

I would hope for a movie a year! Finger crossed.

To your other point, I think that Disney made those hidden gem character movies BECAUSE they didn't have the rights to Spider-Man, X-Men, and FF. I think we are all the better for it, but do you think we would have ever gotten a Black Panther or Ant-Man movie otherwise? I don't.

Yeah, I have a bad feeling about this. I think the Disney deal needs to happen, and they need to step in and interfere. I really hope they don't ruin a second Dark Phoenix storyline.

I can't. I just can't. This will be the SECOND time FOX has f**ked up this story. At least this time there is an image of outer space and the funeral image is straight from the comics....

What I'm afraid of is that Disney won't shut this sh!t down because of the "star" casting in Jennifer Lawrence (love her, hate her as Mystique) and Jessica Chastain as whatever watered down villain she is cast as.

I'm scared.

I don't remember a female villain in the Dark Phoenix saga other than Emma Frost and the Hellfire Club's involvement in driving Jean mad. What kind of female villain would Jessica Chastain play?
