You guys all make great points on why this is fishy…

The biggest one for me might be the price. IF LEGIT, I would think he could sell these for double his asking price. It’s that good.

$3500-3800 is LESS than most Queen or IS busts…that don’t look nearly as good.

Now, this could be some new child prodigy artist that’s new and trying to make a name for himself and we’ll be missing out on his first offering and kicking ourselves? But doubtful…

I’ve been burned too many times by sales like this. I’ll wait it out and if the production pieces look this good I’ll just buy it on the aftermarket for double.

I wouldn't go for it for the other reasons but the price actually isn't that fishy.

Interesting how this thread continues to thrive considering the custom nature of the subject matter.

Yes, I thought customs were frowned upon here.

Are we really not allowed to talk about customs?

Customs are a part of the hobby, so I don't see the harm. As long as we're just discussing and not posting info on where to get them, it really shouldn't be a big deal. If licensed company reps that peruse this forum have a problem with that, I'd suggest they need to relax

I think it depends how it's done. No links to where to buy, or even names people/sites where they are available, is common sense. Anyone can make their own custom and there is even a section on this site for them. When it becomes problematic is when we start talking about money and how much, that should probably be avoided. We have pms for that IMO

Discussion and even pics are allowed. No advertising or soliciting of commissions in a thread though. PMs only. szabo is pretty much correct.

Well there we have it, thanks Zen. Those stipulations make sense and seem quite reasonable...so let's discuss those customs!
