Transformers Movie rand Products Poll
OK, I've hoped against all odds that things would get better, but the last set of pics have sent me over the edge in terms of wanting to watch the movie. I've been a pretty big Transformers fan from G1, Beast Wars, to Energon. With the new movie, there is just too much of a departure from what I had hope would be a good G1 adaptation. The sad thing is, I think it's infected my view of the toys as well, as everytime I look at a new transformers release, I shake my head and think about what could've been...so my question, how many of you still plan to watch the movie and buy their products. As for me, I'm done with Transfomers (Nemesis Prime was the last one purchased and I was looking forward to Masterpiece Starscream), which is depressing.

While I hate almost everything shown so far, and I'm not real impressed with the attitudes of those involved towards the fan base, I'm not going to proclaim Transformers dead quite yet. I'm actually kind of holding on to a dream, and in that dream, all these leaked images are of fakes, decoys, to make sure the internet is filled with Transformers the Movie talk. When the first real trailer comes out, we're going to see real Transformers and there will be much rejoicing.

Me want blocky G1 Transformers. I don't care about realism.

At this point, I'm only watching the movie, opening weekend of course.
No interest in any product potential shown so far but then, I havent been getting much Transformers product recently. I think the new designs suck but you know what? In the context of the movie they may look appropriate but I'll just have to wait and see. Still keeping my fingers crossed that, despite the new look, it'll be a good movie.
