Started July 1st,but you can still request FedEx on your account,DHL will cost a little more, and if you miss a delivery it tends to be more work as they generally only have one depot per major city

I've heard a lot of bad things about dhl. Have to see if the cheaper price is worth the potential for damaged products.

It would have to be significantly cheaper for me to want to switch to dhl.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Oh NO !!!!!! Could I ask where you heard that (as in - is it 100% confirmed)?

DHL usually charge extortionate import/carriage/customs duties (same as UPS).

Unless Sideshow have found a way round that?

Ditto.

I've had DHL deliver a grand total of 3 items over the last 12 years - every one was damaged beyond repair.

DHL delivers all of my XM stuff from Singapore and I've never had better service.

3-4 days from Singapore to Edmonton, packages are always in good shape and the ability to pay for customs/taxes right as it gets through customs.

I sent customer support an email stating that I heard rumors and she confirmed it.

"Thank you for reaching out to us. We are making the transition to DHL at this time. I have set your account to ship with FedEx only but I do have to give you the disclaimer that the FedEx shipping cost may increase due to the fact that we are shipping less with them. They will be raising the rates on us."

I'll see what all of you guys end up thinking of DHL. If they're as good as FedEx, I may make the switch.

I love FedEx, everything arrives in great condition and I like my driver. He know's what times I'm home. I also get a some kind of break because I have an account with them.

Thanks Fremen.

This may be the final nail unfortunately. Guess I'll have to see what you folks get charged between now and November, and then MY costs for the Wolf Predator LSB in November.

REALLY interested to see how the rates compare AND what "extra duties" DHL apply. If they DO copy UPS - that's it - I'm out.
