Agreed. I like the portrait quite a bit, but not a fan of the costume, especially that big belt and belt loops. Also not sure what the base is supposed to be. Cool that it lights up, but what is it?

Prime 1 has the classic spandex look where Iron Studios gave him a more modern outfit made out of some advance material.
I'm not crazy about the belt on Iron Studios, those red loops for the belt are huge.

Thanos doesn’t have a solid classic costume either, but you guys seem to have fallen head over heals in love for that. As a matter of fact, both Superman and Thanos costumes follow a very similar concept and design.

I'll have to see more pics but my initial reaction is that I like it. Portrait is miles better than P1, which looks more like the Punisher to me. I like the dynamic pose and sculpt better too. Don't really care for the shiny blue "plating" around the S but rest of the costume is really nice. Sculpted cape is a win. I like the base but I think the crystals should be molded in clear and have a green/clear color selectable led. Kyrptonite is an intergral part of who Superman is, so I kinda get why it's there, but doesn't make sense around a strong pose. If it were color changing those who don't like the Kyrptonite could have clear crystals instead.

Or at least just mold the crystals clear so when they're off they look like crystals and not Kryptonite.

I still don´t know how I feel about the suit, would probably prefer a more classic look, but the head sculp looks really nice. People on the group were talking that the crystals were not painted the right way on the prototype and they will look less green in the final piece, since it´s suppose to look like ice and not like kryptonite, but this information is not official. Anyway, looks like official pics will be revealed soon.

I prefer the suit on the P1 piece but the portrait of the IS.
I'm not crazy about either of the bases.
Glad these aren't quarter scale or tough decisions would need to be made.

I just don't like how thick the loops are on his red undies.
