RIP Dina Babbitt

I posted this in the comics section so sorry for the double post. But, for those that don't read comics or that section I wanted to put this important passing here.

Very, very sad.

That she never got her original art back from the Auschwitz Museum is a terrible travesty of justice. I believe the Stan Lee/Joe Kubert/Neal Adams tribute piece this obit references is in the last issue of the Magneto Testament mini-series and HC, where it first got comic book and popular culture treatment and exposure, but I wasn't aware it had been adapted into a short film.

May you rest in peace you dear, dear woman.

The NYTimes article gives the writing credits for "The Last Outrage" incorrectly to Stan Lee. Stan wrote the afterword, but the story was scripted by Rafael Medoff. Pencils were by Neal Adams and inks by both Neal Adams and Joe Kubert.

And Jesse posted the following youtube link to the short film Neal Adams created, inspired by the comic piece he helped create.
