Any Current Comics Worth Buying?

I’m getting more and more disappointed with what I’ve been reading and my pull list seems to be narrowing by the month.

While I’m interested in where JMS and Saiz are taking Captain America, I’ve had it with the poor writing and art on Thor, Avengers, FF and other books. My DC titles have been whittled down to the two core Superman titles (Action Comics is the better of the two).

So, I’m about to be left with two titles, Captain America and Action Comics, where just a few years ago I’d have been following a dozen or so titles.

I’m sure (I hope) I’m missing something out there so I’m looking for recommendations before I’m left with just going through my back issues and trade book collections (which, honestly, would keep me reading primo stuff, that I’ve hand selected for decades, for years to come…and that may be a good thing).

So, can anyone help a brother out?

I find myself only reading Black Label Batman stories, Death Dealer from Frazetta Girls and a title here and there from Allegiance Arts and Entertainment.

I still buy monthly books-just DC and Marvel
Tom King just took over Wonder Woman. The 2nd issue is out now. I thought that the first issue was better than any comic that I have read in years.

Nightwing has been a consistently good read-Tom Taylor is doing a fantastic job.

The new Birds of Prey run I have been enjoying. They are on their 3rd issue and Kelly Thompson so far is doing a great job.

The only comic I'm buying is the Titan' Conan book. It's fantastic! I've given everything else up. Shame because I love comics, but I can no longer justify the expense for what I find now to be a mediocre product.

I will be buying the 2nd issue of Fire & Ice whenever the hell that hits. It's been like 5 months since the 1st issue.

I gave up buying a lot of titles a long time ago. Sadly the only title in my pull box is Jim Balent's Tarot Witch of the Black Rose. Still buy omnibi though.

I also get some manga from time to time as well.

This is what I'm doing now. Every day I set up a short stack or pull a trade, & read them after I get dinner on. I haven't read Orion, Lord Of Atlantis in 30+ years, but I'm reading him tonight.
