I thought the car dropping at the end was a joke Manhattan did regarding her story of throwing a brick in the air and hitting "God" in the head....

I just assumed it was the same car, it’s the why and how I couldn’t figure out lol
My initial thought was it was Dr Manhattan helping with the investigation.
I think somehow Angela’s grandfather has a connection to Dr Manhattan because he said he has friends in high places.
How it all connects I have no idea.
Can someone explain where the hell Ozymandias is? I really don’t understand this part of the story. He’s being held somewhere against his will but where? Was it ever explained and I just missed it?

No, you haven't missed anything. I find those scenes to be a humorous interlude in each episode that is otherwise pretty heavy and dark. But no, we don't know where he is or the circumstances of his captivity.
