We are trying to start out in the central region, and this firm is looking to have their Conference Room team outsourced so they sent me in to observe them and make a report for our Regional Manager, then we make a proposal for service and see where it goes.
It was tough coz the current manager did not even want to speak to me. I got a lot of, "I don't want to answer that." lol
Its so weird to just walk around with a clipboard and just ask questions and write my observations. I will say the staff were very happy I was there and more than helpful, much to the managers disgust. hehe.

The best part of the whole deal is it all happened so quick. My boss called me to go and I was very reluctant to go at first but he convinced me. Then he had to call the firm I work at to see if the Administrator there minded if they pulled me for a week.
Then they wanted me to work a full day and then fly out to Dallas right after. I told them that it is not fair to me to work an 10 hour day then fly to Dallas to 4 hours, so I took the day off on Tuesday to fly there in the morning so I didn't have to rush around.
The best part is when I was going home I realized that they would want me in a suits as I did the site evaluation. I dress business causal where I am and all my suits I have outgrown in 5 years ! 
When I told the regional they told me I had to get them for the trip. Before I could even say I was not going to lay out the money they offered to pay for them as well as my luggage for the trip.
