jory rex's simple art work

saw alot of really really cool art work here so i figured i'd share mine. they're not as great as many of the other forum members' but they're all right i guess. would really love some feedbacks on these cuz that's the best way to learn. just so everyone knows, dont be too hard on me, after all, im a bio major and i never took art classes in high school and college. no way can squeeze art with genetics, chem, botany, physics etc. this is really just a way for me to release stress and hopefully some day make some extra cash. anywayz, here they are and enjoy!!!

this is a work in progress based on the bowen fs deadpool. hopefully i can finish it by the end of the week

couldn't find the original art work for the koto so i made my own. didnt like the face so i changed it. also im changing the nose after im done with deadpool

thank you, i would post more but that's all i got. i've only been drawing marvel for two months. all my previous works are graffiti art works (its fun until you get caught). just recently steered away from that and i figured i'd fall back on my next passion, which is marvel superheroes. after i get deadpool done, im planning on doing the FS thor by bowen. same style (simple ink art) and hopefully fit in the paper (as im still having trouble scaling my drawings)

well, i guess its simple because all i use is a mechanical pencil and a pigmented liner set (sale for like @ $15) i bought at micheals. but thank you, it does take me a while to work on a single art.

here's a question to any professional comicbook artist, what kind of pen do you use to do the inking? is there a special kind that makes them look so nice or are they all digital these days?

I'm no pro, but I use a brush for everything I can get away with, then also quill pen and technical pens.

And your art looks great! Only thing I would say is that on your Spider-man the shoulder/collarbone area looks awesome, but his right leg seems to have a lot of lines just for the sake of having lines.
