As soon as I saw the email about an auction I knew that all the prices were going to be really high. I didn't go in there thinking "I'm going to be getting myself a rare statue!"

The bids are insanely high, but it is for a worth while cause. That said, I can just see some delusional collectors using these bids as a basis for selling off their statues.

Hard to imagine why anyone sees the Darth Talon as being worth 4500+. It is missing the saber and doesn't appear to be any different than the production piece.

Yeah, these are "for charity" prices not real world prices. If those buyers try to sell those they'll get at best half of what they paid.
