This.
By the time this comes out, people will be all over the new Batfleck with the armored suit. Awkward stance, uninteresting base to boot.
Dunno, it seems to me that the Nolan ship has sailed long ago.

Christian Bale may actually be the worst Batman, even worse than Clooney. I remember when I watched Dark Knight in theaters opening weekend, the audience exploded in laughter when he opened his mouth for the first time. He took everyone out of the moment with his awful performance.
Decent Bruce Wayne, but terrible, terrible Batman.
When I look back on Nolan's Batman trilogy with the benefit of hindsight, away from the hype and record breaking box office numbers, I see just what a mediocre series it really it. Ledger's performance as Joker is really its only saving grace. Everything else, from the tacky, overly-designed Batsuit, which now looks hilariously dated but a few years later, Nolan's inability to direct action scenes, the boring nonsense that was Dark Knight Rises, it just doesn't stand up to time much like Tim Burton's Batman doesn't either.
Under the Red Hood and the film adaption of Dark Knight Returns deserved to make a billion dollars, not this.

I'm curious as to why some characters like Nolan's Batman which is considered a classic has missed the boat yet Alien Big Chap which was based on a film from the late 70's is still okay. That argument is bogus.

The original Batman PF. Then its Modern variant. Michael Keaton Batman PF. Arkham Asylum Batman PF. And now Christian Bale Batman PF.
At some point the Bat-Market saturates!
On the statue itself, the pose is interesting but it does feel geared towards a dual display with a Heath Ledger Joker PF. My favorite Nolan statues are still the Koto Fine Art pieces that stand perfectly on their own.

Don't like fighting pose unless you are going to buy another statue to accompany it. However, if it's Bane, I'm passing. Don't like the look of it.
I would consider getting Catwoman though. Her face needs to be bang on.

Hopefully they nail the Ledger portrait. I can't wait.
