I usually open it the same day. I'll go pick it up at the UPS store on my lunch break from work, open it up and inspect it for initial damage, and if I ran out of time, go back the next day and do a more thorough inspection and assembly.

This is like going to the Ice Cream shop, getting your favorite Ice Cream, and putting it in the fridge.

Usually within a week for me. I got my Deadpool statue last Thursday, but haven't inspected it just yet. Will get around to it tonight.
I try to set aside 30 min to an hour so I can open up the box and give a good once over. If there are any problems, I have time to take pics and send the email.

Same day usually. The odd time maybe 1 - 3 days max.

It varies for me. The same day, the next day, a few days later or a week later. But never past two weeks. That way I still have time to deal with issues if there are any on the statue.

I’m out of the country a lot so my friend signs for it and it sits in my house with my guard cats for a week or two until I get home. When I get back, I have to decompress and reorient my brain so that’s another week at least before I get to looking at all this ancillary stuff.
