That's unfortunate to hear, man. I'd but the hell outta zombies. I never knew Sideshow dropped their zombie line. How could they? Everyone loves zombies. I probably wouldn't buy any prehistoric stuff, but I'd still like to see what you come up with.

I'm a huge fan of prehistoric statues. My only suggestions if you decide to go down this route would be to perhaps consider making diorama statues that also capture the environment. I think having a statue that looks kind of like a museum exhibit would be the way to go for a line like this. And because there would be no licensing fees, the extra cost for the intricate bases could be leveled off, like you mentioned.

Only if they were large pieces. The SS dinosaur pieces are too small for my liking. I want a nice 30 inch tall T-rex!

Anyone have an interest in this ? No licensing fees so we could keep pricing a bit under normal.

YES - this line would be incredible and I have been waiting for someone to do it. From mammoths and giant hornless rhinos, to chalicotheres and the earliest ancestors of whales, this would be sensational. so many great options to choose form. I would buy every one you made.

I remember you talking about this idea a couple years back.
I really like the idea, more so than Sidedhow's dinosaurs.
I even like the idea of current day animals like the tiger. I find it bizarre there does not exist a really good tiger statue. I spent months searching eBay and never found anything.
I can't say I'd collect any though without seeing them first. I wouldn't go beyond one or two of my favourites either.
Make sure not to make them 1:4 scale either haha.

I reckon that if these looked good enough and the line really pulled from the variety of bizarre creatures that existed during prehistoric times as well as including favourites like the mammoth, sabre tooth etc, this line could do rather well. I suspect many of those saying no would reconsider. Look how SS dinosaur took off!
