They cited production difficulties and low quantities sold on a number of statues on their own site a year ago according to a quick search.
Companies judge interest in their upcoming products through numbers of preorders. If a statue isn’t getting the numbers, then it doesn’t always make sense to continue production if it’s not going to sell.
