Unfortunately I think most people only look at pics and PO date...

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hi Jerry...

Can I ask that these get put in the newsletter but not up for sale until a pre specified time? Speaking for myself and probably a few other collectors, I receive the newsletter between 2-4 am local time so pretty much guaranteed to miss out on the more popular stuff.

Thanks

No matter what time we put them up its 2am for someone. Thats the problem.

So we chose 10am Pacific because its 7pm in most of Europe. That covers 90% of our collectors.

Collectors in Asia-Pacific get a little screwed because its the middle of the night but Asia-Pacific collectors only make up ~10% of sales so it unfortunately doesnt make sense to schedule the times to be most convenient for them but inconvenient for the 90%.

I know that sucks, but there is no perfect solution.

I read ever word, I even have them all saved. It's always the highlight of my Sunday mornings.

I noticed that you usually send them out 9am pacific time but this last one went out an hour later.

I think you should try offering the prototypes to your most loyal customers. Maybe the ones that have had the most orders in the past or have the most pre-orders. Kind of a way to reward customer loyalty. Of course if you have 50 customers that fall into that range and only 1 prototype it still would be tough to get.

Bias toward long time collectors is a bit unfair. Special treatment isn't cool
