Anyone in Maryland do airbrush painting?

Hey guys, been getting into painting my board game minis in the last couple months, and picked up an airbrush to try that since it looks to make at least the base coats go sooooo much quicker, especially on the more intricate minis.

I am still not getting how people do fine painting with the airbrush though, and keep having to go back to brushes for pretty much anything past the base coat. Are any of you in MD and would be up for getting together to do some painting and share some tips? Been looking around but not seeing anything locally, and the youtube stuff I have been finding hasn't really helped or explained sufficiently.
