Finally bit the dust. The cracks in the red X appeared a few months in after getting here. Too late for a replacement base, but I did get a $40 partial refund from SS.

Now the black on the base has cracked and even worse, there goes her legs. it's all cracked from the thigh up to the crotch. I guess the really hot summer in SoCal this year took its toll. She was on top a Ikea Billy bookshelf against an interior wall away from a window. On the second floor, so it probably got warm, but no hotter than 100 degrees F.

I don't have time right now for a complete strip down and repaint. This will have to wait until I finish graduate school in a year.

Any of you customizers know of a safe paint stripper to use? Or maybe I'll have to buy a cheap sandblaster.

The Psylocke and Rogue PFs is the worst QC issue ever by SSC. Lack of primer ruined this statue. The rogue fiasco is even worst.

How people feel confident dropping 700$ in the aftermarket for the Ex, is completely beyond me.

Sideshow should have recalled all these pieces. This was obviously a production problem. IMO, these are garbage. They don't serve their purpose. They should have went after the factory and had them redo/reproduce them.

Anyways, for strippers....
You can use Acetone. John Ficchi has a youtube video about what he does. I use acetone and during the winter I use low-fume oven cleaner.

So I just got a psylocke and she has a mean lean. Anyone have any ideas to fix it? I'll post some pics when I can.

Yes mine cracked as well after 6 months right after the ss 30 day policy was gone. These should have been recalled or credit since it was very cleary a factory error.
