Might rewatch the movie, see what kind of floral they got and try to match that.

Also thought about staining one of the legs a little green (blood effect) but not going to do that anymore, instead I might stain one of the leafs for added effect.

I know plants well enough (too well in this case?) that scale would bug the ---- out of me if incorrect. banana leaves would not make sense size wise and without a trunk.

Palm leaves (many species to choose from) are the safest bet here. I just hope they don't look super fake in person.

I know very little about plants. Never apologize for disseminating facts. I always appreciate knowing what's accurate. If a person has a different opinion (regarding aesthetics, etc.), that's their prerogative, but at least they would know what's correct - if they want to go that way.

You don't have to be a Botanist to see the difference between the prototype's foliage & what we are getting. Those big floppy leaves on the proto look a lot cooler. I have extra of those regular ferns left over from the 1/4 piece. Oh well...... That's false advertising, even if it's a $2 cheap item. As long as they paint mine really great & nothing breaks in transit, I'll forgive them?....

Maybe you do need to be a botanist to tell the difference between arched and not arched leaves lol.

I don't care to argue millimeter differences in leaflet width without both in front of me.

Based on this pic, looks like we still get the big leaves with the larger leaflets (I count at least 3 here including the one right behind his left leg). I think the only question is are they posable... can you get them to arch like they do in the proto pics (frankly, even the smaller leaves arch in the proto, so I'd complain about them all in that case, not just the larger ones).

If they don't have wires, and therefore not poseable, I'm pretty confident the hairdryer trick would work on them.

Cheap fern leaves from the look of it...need the best possible multiple foliage from the movie....this is not a city pred ...this landed in jungle

Definitely. I guarantee they'll need some paint too. Monochromatic fake leaves just look even more fake.....
